With just one day to go, we get to find out some information about the new Galaxy Z Fold. On the 9th of July, Samsung unveils its most recent foldable mobile at the Galaxy Unpacked event.

Performance

First things first, we expect a Qualcomm SM8750-AB Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset powering the phone. It is going to have an Octa-core CPU and an Adreno 830 GPU.

Display Size and Resolution

Display size is bigger than before, with around a 95.1% screen-to-body ratio. Display resolutions are speculated to be around 2224 x 2488 pixels when unfolded and 968 x 2376 pixels for the cover display.

The Dynamic LTPO AMOLED cover display is made with Corning Gorilla Glass and measures 6.5 inches. When you unfold the phone, it is 8.2 inches in diameter.

Width

Samsung teased in June that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be "the thinnest, lightest, and most advanced foldable yet."

Rumors vary from 3.9mm to 4.5mm, but the most reliable speculations place the phone’s width at 4.2mm.

Camera quality is rumored to be improved for the under-display camera. We certainly hope there are great upgrades.

Sources also say that the main camera is going to be the same 200MP one as the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
